Part-Time EMDR Psychotherapist

Qualifications:

  • LMHC or LICSW

  • Certified EMDR Therapist/EMDRIA Certified

    • experience providing EMDR in an outpatient setting

    • experience providing EMDR via telehealth preferred

    • ability to work independently without a supervisor also certified in EMDR

  • have demonstrated clinical experience working with adults, preferably in an outpatient setting

  • be knowledgeable about working with the LGBTQIA+/queer community, especially providing gender affirming care

  • be dedicated to providing care grounded in cultural humility; drive to empower people from historically marginalized communities (BIPOC, neurodivergent, disabled, etc.)

  • be familiar with the Health at Every Size philosophy and have a commitment to providing care which is anti-fatphobic

  • have competency in working with neurodivergent clients

  • be comfortable providing care via telehealth and have a private space to conduct sessions

  • Certification in additional modalities and/or unique specializations such as IFS, brainspotting, sex therapy, etc. desirable but not required.

    The position:

  • W2 employee

  • fully remote via telehealth

  • offers competitive compensation ($100+ per session)

  • allows you to choose which clients you work with, choose how many clients you would like to see (minimum is only 6 weekly), and fully set your own hours/schedule (no mandatory days/times on)

  • Client recruitment/initial screening, overhead, and billing are all managed for you. Telehealth platform, online profile/advertisement, malpractice insurance, electronic medical record service are fully provided.

  • Health insurance stipend available for full-time employees

  • Free attendance to conferences and other professional events geared toward working with the LGBTQIA+ community.

  • Opportunities to earn extra income by providing trainings, consultations, and running groups

  • Free clinical supervision provided by an LMHC
